The Hollywood Rock Academy's main mission is to put instruments into the deserving hands of students that could use them the most. There is no red tape: money given to the HRA Foundation is brought to a music store, an instrument is bought at low cost, and then the next child on our list is given the instrument of their choice.

It has been proven countless times that an introduction to music can unlock a world of discovery, creativity and self confidence in children of need. However, school budget cuts have taken away music (and all arts) curriculum to a saddening point.

Foundation funds are also used to give scholarships to deserving, qualified students that take part if the Hollywood Rock Academy program after school and on weekends.
What really makes The Hollywood Rock Academy special is the fact that we focus on one school at a time - therefore, all of the money raised goes to the specific community at a time. It is this aspect that gives The Foundation a very personal, yet focused goal.

Proceeds from all HRA events, concerts, and CD sales go directly to the chosen community. Watch this space to see which school has been chosen this semester!
